Panel-mount analogue ammeter

The Unique-Bargains DH-670 is a direct-connection AC ammeter rated for 30A with Class 2.0 accuracy. It mounts on display or switch panels to monitor battery and electrical systems in control and power-distribution equipment. The rectangular face measures approximately 2.7 x 2.3 inches with a black scale on a white background for clear reading. Installing parts are included for panel mounting.

Passive analogue operation

The meter draws its operating energy from the measured circuit itself, so it adds no separate power demand and produces no fan or coil noise. With a net weight of 72g and an overall depth of 1.3 inches, it imposes minimal thermal load inside an enclosure. Class 2.0 accuracy means the indication stays within 2.0 percent of full scale under normal conditions. No external current transformer is required for the 30A range.

Panel integration requirements

A cut-out matching the 2.0-inch base diameter and screw spacing of 1.1 or 1.9 inches is needed, with a mounting thread of 0.19 x 0.4 inches. The 1.3-inch overall depth must clear internal wiring and other components behind the panel. Because it is a direct-connection type, the circuit conductor must be routed to the meter terminals, which suits panels where a separate transformer would not fit. Builders needing DC measurement or higher current ranges without a transformer cannot use this model.
