Battery holder for six AA cells

This set of four black plastic cases holds six 1.5 V AA batteries each. Spring-loaded contacts make insertion and removal quick. The cases are intended for hobbyists, technicians and anyone who needs to keep spare cells organised and protected. Batteries are not included.

Current limit of two amperes

Each holder is rated for a maximum working current of 2 A and a maximum power of 12 W. Exceeding these values can damage the contacts or create a safety hazard. Check that your device draws less than the rated current before connecting the case.

Lightweight plastic construction

Each case weighs 53 g and measures 5.6 x 4.5 x 3 cm. The material does not generate heat, but the batteries inside can warm up under load. Monitor cell temperature during use and avoid low-quality batteries that may overheat.

Questions about this item

How much current can this holder handle in a real tool?

The supplier rates the working current below 2A and maximum power under 12W, so it suits low-drain devices but not high-current motors.

What connection method does the case use and what does it limit?

Spring-loaded contacts on both sides hold six AA cells in series, capping the pack at 9V nominal and the 2A current limit.

What clearance does the 5.6 cm length need to fit in a compartment?

The case measures 5.6 cm long, 4.5 cm wide and 3 cm high, so any slot must exceed those dimensions.
