Rear trunk gas struts for LandCruiser 100 Series

Two gas struts replace worn rear trunk lift supports on LandCruiser 100 Series models from 1998 to 2007. Each unit measures 55 cm total length with a 54 cm extended length and 33 cm compressed length. The set includes two pieces for a complete pair replacement.

For owners needing direct-fit rear trunk supports

Suits drivers restoring proper trunk operation on the listed LandCruiser variants. Not for buyers who need front hood struts or parts for other model years. Not for those requiring OEM-branded components, as this is an aftermarket accessory only.

M8 x 1.25 thread diameter with 9 mm hole

Mounting hardware uses an M8 x 1.25 thread and a 9 mm hole diameter, so the struts bolt to the factory mounting points without modification. Verify the thread and hole match your vehicle before ordering.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the gas struts are working correctly after installation?

The trunk should lift smoothly and hold open at the full 54 cm extended length without drifting down. The 8 mm connecting rod must move freely through its 24 cm stroke and the 9 mm mounting holes should align with the M8 x 1.25 threads on the vehicle.

What is included in the package and what must be purchased separately?

The box contains 2 black metal gas struts with 18 mm housing diameter, 33 cm compressed length and 55 cm total length. No brackets, bolts or tools are supplied; reuse the original mounting hardware or source M8 x 1.25 fasteners separately.

Which version fits my LandCruiser 100 Series rear trunk?

These struts are built for LandCruiser 100 Series FZJ HDJ HZJ UZJ models from 1998 to 2007. Verify the rear trunk location, the 54 cm extended length, 33 cm compressed length and M8 x 1.25 thread diameter before ordering.
