SKU CH-53GV-ZJ290

A 10 ft RG316 coaxial cable with gold-plated BNC male to SMA male connectors rated at 50 ohm impedance for RF antenna connections

  • Product typeHI - Antennas, Wires & Fittings
  • Gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transfer
  • 50 ohm impedance matches standard RF equipment
  • RG316 coaxial cable for high-frequency low-loss performance
  • BNC male to SMA male connectors link dissimilar interfaces
  • 10 ft length provides flexible installation reach

Cable type and connectors

This RG316 coaxial cable provides a 50 ohm link between BNC male and SMA male connectors. It is intended for RF signal paths in antennas, wireless LAN equipment and Wi-Fi radio external antennas. The 10 ft length gives flexibility for bench or vehicle routing.

Upgrade path and when it matters

The gold-plated contacts and nickel-plated bodies reduce contact resistance compared with basic tin-plated jumpers. The low-loss RG316 construction preserves signal integrity at higher frequencies where thinner cables attenuate excessively. The improvement is worthwhile when cable loss degrades receiver sensitivity or transmitter efficiency.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Installers needing a ready-made BNC-to-SMA patch with 50 ohm impedance and gold contacts will find this cable convenient. Buyers who require a different impedance, alternative connector gender or a length other than 10 ft cannot use this assembly.

Questions about this item

What length is the RG316 coaxial cable and which connectors does it use?

The cable is 10 ft long and has a BNC male connector on one end and an SMA male connector on the other, both rated for 50 ohm impedance.

How do I correctly attach the BNC and SMA connectors to my equipment?

Push the SMA connector onto the mating jack and turn the knurled nut clockwise until snug; for the BNC, align the bayonet pins, push in, and twist a quarter-turn until it locks.

Will the gold-plated contacts need cleaning or replacement over time?

Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation, so routine cleaning is not required; replace the cable only if the connectors become physically damaged or the cable jacket shows wear.
