RJ45 Boots Cover Set for Cat5–Cat6 Cables

This 50-piece set includes protective boots in five colours to shield RJ45 connectors from dust and oxidation. Each boot fits standard Cat5, Cat5E and Cat6 patch cables and extends the life of the plug. The variety of colours helps identify connections on modems, routers, switches and other network devices. A practical addition for home and office cabling jobs.

Check cable diameter and connector style before

The boots have a 6 mm hole and an inner rectangle of 12 by 7 mm, so the cable jacket and plug body must pass through those dimensions. Verify that your patch cables use standard RJ45 plugs compatible with Cat5 through Cat6 specifications. No tools are required for installation, but the boots must slide on before the connector is crimped or be flexible enough to fit over an assembled plug.

Replaces missing or damaged boots on existing

Use this set when original boots have cracked, fallen off or were never fitted, restoring strain relief and dust protection. The colour coding simplifies cable management in dense racks or behind entertainment units. Not suited for non-standard connectors, shielded plugs with larger bodies, or fibre-optic terminations.
