RJ45 CAT 5 Cable Joiner

This RJ45 connector joins two LAN cables to extend a network run. It accepts Cat 5, Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables. A durable PVC housing protects the connection. The unit weighs 10g.

Suitable for extending existing cable runs

Installers who need a quick inline splice without re-terminating cables will find this useful. Builders who require a shielded coupler for high-interference environments should look elsewhere. Users needing a tool-less keystone jack for wall plates should also consider a different part.

Unshielded inline RJ45 coupler

The single specification that decides fit is the unshielded inline RJ45 coupler format. It connects two patch cables directly. Verify that your cabling standard and environment allow an unshielded joiner before purchase.
