Unique-Bargains Solid Rectangle Rubber Seal Strip 50mm 3mm 5m Black

Solid rubber seal strip for general sealing tasks

The Unique-Bargains strip is a solid EPM rubber profile supplied in a five metre length. It is intended for buyers who need a simple, durable seal for doors, windows, enclosures or machinery. The material resists corrosion, dust, shock and heat while providing sound insulation and anti-skid properties. It is not suited for applications that require temperatures above 70 °C or highly elastic compression.

Installs with contact adhesive on most surfaces

The rectangular cross-section measures 50 mm wide by 3 mm thick and bends without breaking, allowing it to follow curves and corners. A general purpose contact adhesive bonds it to metal, plastic, wood or painted surfaces. The solid construction gives a firm, low-elasticity fit that stays in place under vibration. No clips, channels or specialised tools are required for day-to-day fitting.

Maximum continuous temperature of 70 °C

The single figure that decides suitability is the upper temperature limit of 70 °C. Above this point the rubber may degrade and lose its sealing performance. For engine bays, exhaust proximity or industrial ovens that exceed this value, a different material must be chosen. Within the stated range the strip works as a water, dust, sound, fire, smoke, oil, collision or rotary seal.
