Rubber Cable Gland Stopper

These EPDM rubber stoppers seal unused ports in 7 mm cable glands to keep enclosures waterproof and dust-proof. They suit installers closing single or multiple-hole glands in outdoor or industrial wiring jobs. The pack contains five identical black inserts.

7 mm Hole Diameter Fit

Each stopper is moulded for a precise 7 mm / 0.28 inch gland opening. The SPR-070 profile measures 18 mm long by 13 mm wide (0.71 x 0.51 inch) so it seats fully without protruding.

EPDM Material Resists Chemicals

The rubber withstands acid, alcohol and weather exposure without degrading. It simply presses into the gland hole, requiring no tools or adhesive, and leaves the remaining cable entries free for wiring. Buyers needing larger or smaller gland sizes cannot use this 7 mm version.

Questions about this item

How well does the 7 mm hole diameter seal around a cable in practice?

The 7 mm hole is moulded from EPDM rubber, which compresses around the cable to maintain a waterproof and dust-proof seal even when the cable shifts slightly.

What does the SPR-070 designation tell me about compatibility with cable glands?

SPR-070 identifies this stopper as a 7 mm insert designed to fit single- or multi-hole cable glands of that bore size.

Will the 18 mm by 13 mm body fit the mounting depth of a standard gland?

The stopper measures 18 mm long by 13 mm wide, so it seats fully in glands with at least 18 mm of internal depth.
