Two-metre OM4 duplex cable

This two-metre OM4 duplex cable carries 100G multimode signals between LC male connectors. It suits data-centre links, campus backbones and high-density patch panels that need short-reach 100G connectivity.

Low-loss ceramic ferrules

The LC male ferrules use ceramic end-faces that resist contamination and keep insertion loss low during repeated mating. A 2 mm jacket protects the fibres while staying flexible enough for tight cable-management trays.

Verify LC duplex ports

Confirm that both ends of your link present LC duplex ports rated for OM4 multimode fibre. Check that the 2 metre reach covers the patch-panel or transceiver spacing in your rack before ordering.

Questions about this item

What data rate does the OM4 fibre support at this length?

The OM4 multimode cable is rated for 100G transmission over its 2 metre length.

What connectors are fitted and how many ends does the cable have?

Each end terminates in an LC male connector, giving a duplex link with two connectors total.

How should the LC connectors be seated to avoid signal loss?

Push each LC plug straight in until the latch clicks; angled insertion can leave the ferrule slightly unseated.
