United General Supply Co Inc Paper Grocery Bags 500 Kraft 40 lbs

Sturdy Kraft bags for high-volume grocery use

These paper grocery bags arrive new in a 500-count bundle. Each bag is made from SFI-certified Kraft paper with 40% post-consumer recycled content and is Cedar Grove Composting Approved. They suit busy grocery stores, markets and other high-traffic environments that need an economical, self-opening solution.

40 lb capacity with gusseted depth for bulky loads

The gusseted sides expand to a depth of 4 13/16 inches, giving the bag room for wide or irregular items while the 40 lb weight rating handles heavy groceries. The 16-inch height and 7 3/4-inch width provide a practical fill volume, but the standard-grade paper will reach its limit with very dense or sharp-edged loads that exceed the rated capacity.

Flat-packed bundles that open with a thumb notch

The bags ship flat and feature self-opening thumb notches so staff can open them quickly at the checkout. They require a dry storage area and a bag stand or rack for dispensing, and they free up counter space compared to rigid containers. Shoppers needing moisture-resistant or reusable carriers will need a different product.
