Direct Replacement Remote

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the NEC NP-UM330XI-WK NP-VE281 projector accessory. It replicates every button and function of the original unit so you can control the projector without learning a new layout. The handset arrives pre-programmed and ready to use once batteries are inserted. It is suited for classrooms, meeting rooms or home cinema setups that have lost or damaged the factory remote.

Compatibility Check

Before ordering, verify that your projector is the NEC NP-UM330XI-WK or NP-VE281 model to ensure full button mapping. Confirm that the original remote uses infrared transmission, as this replacement operates on the same IR protocol. Ensure you have two AAA batteries available, because none are supplied in the package. No additional pairing or software setup is required for operation.

Sustained Use Behaviour

Under continuous daily use the remote maintains reliable infrared range across typical classroom distances. Button legends are printed on durable material that resists fading during long-term handling. The 12 months guarantee covers defects that appear after extended periods of regular pressing. Battery life will vary with usage intensity but the low-power IR design supports months of typical operation.
