Direct replacement for PDI P26LCDC MASTER

This universal remote is a direct replacement for the original PDI P26LCDC MASTER and P22LCDC MASTER models. It arrives with all original functions pre-installed so it works immediately after inserting the batteries. The infrared handset controls one device and suits anyone needing a like-for-like substitute for a lost or broken PDI remote. Buyers who want to operate multiple components from a single handset cannot do so with this unit.

Single-device control with full button parity

The remote supports one device and reproduces every button found on the factory remote. All original commands are available without any programming steps required. It covers the complete feature set of the PDI P26LCDC MASTER and P22LCDC MASTER so no function is lost. Set-ups that require macros, learning capability or multi-device switching are beyond the scope of this replacement.

Infrared operation powered by AAA batteries

The handset communicates via infrared and runs on standard AAA batteries supplied by the user. No pairing or network setup is involved, keeping daily use straightforward. Power draw is limited to the IR emitter and button circuitry during normal operation. There is no backlight, rechargeable cell or radio-frequency module to manage.

Questions about this item

Will this remote control both my P26LCDC MASTER and P22LCDC MASTER displays with a single handset?

The remote supports one device at a time, so it can operate either the P26LCDC MASTER or the P22LCDC MASTER but not both simultaneously.

How can I confirm the infrared signal is transmitting after I insert the AAA batteries?

Point the remote at a smartphone camera and press any button; a flashing light on the screen shows the IR emitter is active.

Does the package include AAA batteries or do I need to supply them myself?

Batteries are not included; you will need to provide two AAA cells before the remote is ready to use.
