Replacement Remote for InFocus Projectors

This universal remote replaces the original InFocus IN3110, IN3916, IN114X and IN116X projector remotes. It reproduces every button and function found on the factory-supplied handset. The unit arrives pre-programmed so no setup codes are required. It is intended for users who have lost or damaged their original remote.

Ready-to-Use Operation

The remote ships with its control functions already installed, matching the original button layout exactly. Insert two batteries and the handset works immediately with the compatible projectors. No pairing procedure, software download or infrared learning step is needed. The accessory restores full projector control without additional configuration.

Simple Battery Installation

Installation consists only of opening the battery compartment and fitting the cells; the remote then communicates with the projector straight away. The most common issue is inserting the batteries with reversed polarity, which prevents the unit from powering on. Ensuring correct orientation resolves the problem in nearly every case.

Questions about this item

Will the batteries need replacing often with daily use?

The remote ships with batteries installed and runs on standard cells that last months under typical classroom or meeting-room use.

What stops the remote from working if I use it continuously during long presentations?

Range is limited by infrared line-of-sight, so the handset must stay pointed at the projector sensor without obstacles.

Does the handset get warm or drain power quickly when left on all day?

It draws negligible current while idle and stays cool; only active button presses use power.
