Direct replacement remote for Vivitek projectors

This remote control is built as a direct replacement for the original accessory supplied with Vivitek DU978-WT DW814 DX881ST DW882ST DX813 models. It reproduces every button and function found on the factory unit. The device arrives pre-programmed so it works immediately after batteries are inserted. It is intended for owners who have lost or damaged their original handset.

Infrared line-of-sight control only

The handset uses standard infrared transmission, so it requires an unobstructed path to the projector sensor. Bright ambient light or fluorescent fixtures can reduce reliable range. There is no wireless pairing, Bluetooth or Wi‑Fi capability, and the remote cannot operate through walls or cabinet doors. Users must aim the unit at the projector front or rear receiver window.

Verify your exact model number before ordering

Check the label on your projector to confirm it matches one of the listed model numbers: DU978-WT, DW814, DX881ST, DW882ST or DX813. This remote is not compatible with other Vivitek series or third‑party brands. Ensure you have two fresh AAA batteries available, as they are not included in the package.
