Direct replacement for InFocus LP840 LP850 LP860

This universal remote works as a direct replacement for the original InFocus LP840 LP850 LP860 remote control. It replicates every button and function of the original unit. The device is ready to use once batteries are inserted. No programming or setup is required.

Passive infrared operation with battery power

The remote uses standard infrared transmission so it produces no heat and no audible noise during use. Power draw is limited to the two batteries installed in the handset. There are no active cooling components or power adapters to manage. Typical battery life covers months of regular classroom or meeting-room use.

Lightweight plastic housing with full button layout

The white plastic case matches the projector aesthetic and fits comfortably in one hand. All original control buttons are present including power, source, menu navigation and keystone adjustment. The infrared emitter requires direct line of sight to the projector receiver. A 12 month guarantee covers defects in materials or workmanship.

How do I install the replacement remote for my InFocus LP840?

Insert two AAA batteries into the compartment, point the remote at the projector, and press any button; no pairing or programming is required.

What maintenance will this InFocus LP850 remote need later?

Replace the AAA batteries when the operating range shortens or buttons become unresponsive; the unit itself has no user-serviceable parts.

What limit appears first during a long presentation with the LP860 remote?

Battery depletion is the first limit; extended use will eventually require fresh AAA cells to maintain reliable infrared transmission.
