Compact USB Heating Pad for Collar and Back Warmth

This thin, flexible pad measures 10 by 20 centimetres and weighs about 40 grams, making it easy to slip inside clothing, vests or underwear. It draws 8.5 watts from a 5 V 2 A USB power source and can reach up to 65 °C for personal warmth in cool environments. The composite fibre layer is soft, tear-resistant and designed for direct contact with fabric.

Limited by 5 V 2 A USB Power Delivery

The pad requires a USB port or adapter that can supply a full 2 amps at 5 volts; lower-current ports will not reach the stated temperature or may not heat at all. Maximum output is capped at 8.5 watts, so it cannot replace larger heated blankets or garments with higher-wattage elements. The 0.5 millimetre thickness means minimal insulation on its own, so heat retention depends on the surrounding clothing layers.

Simple Placement with Washable Fabric

Lay the pad flat against the inner side of a collar or back panel, connect to a compliant USB power source, and it begins heating evenly across the surface. The material is foldable and waterproof, allowing hand washing after disconnecting the power lead. Ensure the USB connector is fully seated and the power source meets 2 A; intermittent contact or undersized adapters are the most common cause of poor performance.
