144-piece soapstone marker set for layout work

This pack contains 144 round soapstone markers designed for highly visible layout lines on concrete and metal. Each marker measures five inches in overall length with a quarter-inch diameter. The bulk quantity suits fabrication shops, welding crews and maintenance teams that go through markers quickly.

Capacity and headroom for daily marking tasks

The 144-piece count provides extended supply for high-volume marking on structural steel, pipework or concrete forms. Soapstone wears faster than carbide scribes on hardened plate or abrasive aggregates, so very heavy layout sessions will consume pieces more rapidly.

Questions about this item

Will the 144 round soapstone markers work on the same metal and concrete surfaces I currently mark with older layout tools?

Yes, each marker is designed for highly visible layout lines on both metal and concrete, so they replace older chalk or soapstone on those materials.

How can I confirm the markers are performing correctly once I start using them?

You will see sharp, consistent white lines on the workpiece that remain visible during welding or cutting, showing the soapstone is feeding and marking as intended.
