The UT-501 is a port-powered data converter that translates single-ended RS-232C signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 outputs. It supports asynchronous half-duplex and full-duplex operation at baud rates from 300 to 115.2K bps. The unit provides 2,500VRMS optoelectronic isolation and integrated surge protection for industrial environments.
