Heavy Duty Tarp Blue

The US Cargo Control HLT16284-BLU is a heavy duty tarp built with PVC coated polyester for outdoor protection. It suits homeowners, contractors and campers who need a reliable cover for equipment, firewood or temporary shelter. The blue colour provides high visibility across a worksite or campsite.

Sustained outdoor exposure

The PVC coating resists moisture, UV light and abrasion over extended periods rather than just during a brief storm. Seams and grommets hold tension when the tarp is tied down for days or weeks at a time. Material stiffness remains consistent through temperature swings.

California Proposition 65 notice

This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer under Proposition 65. Buyers who require a tarp without that specific warning should consider alternative coverings. The notice applies to the item as supplied by US Cargo Control.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the PVC-coated polyester tarp generate when exposed to sunlight all day?

The tarp reflects sunlight rather than generating heat, keeping covered items cooler during extended outdoor exposure.

What mounting hardware or frame do I need to already own to install this tarp as a canopy?

You need a compatible frame or structure with grommet spacing that matches the tarp's reinforced eyelets for secure attachment.

Will the blue PVC coating degrade faster when used alongside older canvas tarps stored in the same area?

The PVC coating resists chemical interaction with older canvas materials, preventing accelerated degradation during shared storage.
