Two-metre USB-C cable pair

This pack contains two USB-C to USB-C cables, each 6.6 ft long, rated for up to 40 W Power Delivery charging. They suit owners of recent iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy, Pixel and other USB-C devices who need spare or replacement cords for home, office or car use. The orange finish and included Velcro strap help identify and manage the cables.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cables carry a maximum of 3 A at 5 V or 20 V under the Power Delivery protocol, with no active electronics that generate heat or noise. Normal charging sessions stay within the 40 W limit, so connector temperature remains low and the double-braided jacket with aramid core resists wear from repeated bending. No fan or radiator is involved.

Upgrade context

These cords replace older USB-A to USB-C or lower-current USB-C cables that cannot deliver 40 W or survive 7000-plus bend cycles. The jump is worthwhile when a device and charger both support Power Delivery at 20 V and the user wants a durable 2 m length with reinforced aluminium connector necks. They do not enable proprietary fast-charge modes such as HUAWEI SuperCharge, OnePlus DASH or Samsung 25 W PD without a compatible charger.

Questions about this item

How do I connect this USB-C to USB-C cable to my phone and charger, and what step do people often miss?

Plug each USB-C male connector firmly into the device and the charger until the metal housing seats fully; the step people miss is using a USB-C Power Delivery charger, because a legacy USB-A charger will not deliver the 40W rating.

What part of this cable will wear out first and need replacement?

The double-braided exterior and aramid fiber core are rated for 7000+ bend cycles; the connectors have reinforced necks, so the cable itself is the last component to fail under normal use.

What limit appears first when I use this 6.6 ft cable at full 40W output for a long session?

The cable supports 20V at 3A for 40W; sustained maximum power is limited by the charger's PD capability and the device's own charge protocol, not by the cable's 2-meter length.
