Covert Security Earpiece

The usbroway two-wire acoustic tube earpiece connects to compatible Motorola and FJohnson two-way radios for discreet communication. A reinforced three-foot cable resists tangling and adds tensile strength for daily field use. The integrated push-to-talk button on the radio adapter allows instant transmission without handling the handset.

Bundled Fit Kit

The package includes two mushroom ear tips and a left-and-right pair of medium ear molds so users can choose the most secure seal. Both the acoustic coil tube and the earbud are replaceable, extending service life when parts wear out. This modular approach reduces downtime for teams that rely on continuous audio clarity.

Security Teams And Event Staff

Professionals needing hands-free, low-profile audio in loud venues such as nightclubs, stadiums or industrial sites will benefit from the clear acoustics and durable build. Buyers who require wireless connectivity or compatibility with radios outside the listed GP, MTX, XTS, HT, JT, PR, MT, MTS, ASTRO and FJohnson series should look at other solutions.

Questions about this item

How often do the replaceable coil tube and earbud need to be changed?

The coil tube and earbud are user-replaceable parts; swap them when audio clarity drops or the tube shows wear.

What fails first on the 3-foot reinforced cable during all-day use?

The cable is built for tensile strength, so the connector or PTT button typically sees stress before the wire itself.

Does the integrated PTT button or the acoustic tube get hot after continuous transmission?

Neither component generates noticeable heat; the tube stays at ambient temperature and the PTT button remains cool during extended use.
