27 MHz BNC Antenna for Handheld CB Radios

This 25.78 inch flexible antenna operates at 27 MHz with a 1dBi gain and handles up to 20 Watts of power. It is designed for handheld CB radios from Cobra, Midland, Macon, and Radio Shack that use a BNC connector. The TPE construction with a heat shrinkable sleeve makes it suitable for outdoor and camping use.

BNC Male Connector Installation

Installation requires aligning the BNC male plug with the radio's BNC female jack and twisting the bayonet coupling until it locks. The soft flexible body reduces strain on the connector during movement. A common issue is an incomplete twist that leaves the connection loose and degrades signal performance.

Radio Compatibility Check

Before ordering, confirm your handheld CB radio has a BNC antenna connector and operates on the 27 MHz CB band. Verify the specific model number matches the supported list including Cobra HH50WXST, HH50, MRHH350FLT, C75WXST; Midland 75-822, 75-785, MHS75; and Uniden BC75XLT, PRO401HH, BC125AT, PRO501HH. Radios with SMA or other connector types will not fit.
