This 90-watt adapter supplies 19 volts at 4.74 amps and accepts 100–240 volt AC input at 50–60 hertz. It is built as a direct replacement for numerous HP part numbers including PPP014S, PPP014L-SA and PA-1900-18H2. The unit is new and finished in black.

7.4 mm x 5.0 mm 3-Prong Barrel Connector

The DC plug measures 7.4 millimetres outer diameter by 5.0 millimetres inner diameter and uses a three-prong design. This connector geometry is the single detail that determines whether the adapter will fit your laptop. Verify the port on your device before ordering.

Plug-and-Play Installation With Long Cables

The package includes the adapter, a 3.9-foot AC power cable and a 5.9-foot DC power cord. Simply connect the AC cable to the wall outlet and the DC plug to the laptop. The most common issue is ordering the wrong barrel size; the 7.4 mm x 5.0 mm dimensions must match exactly.

Questions about this item

What does the 90 W rating mean for my laptop?

The adapter can supply up to 90 W at 19 V and 4.74 A, so it will run any compatible HP notebook that draws 45 W, 65 W or 90 W without overheating.

What does the 7.4 mm × 5.0 mm barrel connector limit?

The 7.4 mm outer and 5.0 mm inner diameter with three prongs fits only HP models that use that exact barrel size; it will not connect to smaller or larger tips.

How much space does the brick and its cables need?

The unit weighs 0.81 lb and includes a 3.9 ft AC cord plus a 5.9 ft DC lead, so allow room for the brick near the wall outlet and the longer DC cable reaching the laptop.
