Two-Pack G-Shape Earpiece for Motorola XPR Series

This two-pack supplies G-shape earpieces with inline microphone and push-to-talk button for Motorola XPR 3000, 3300, 3500, 3300e and 3500e radios. They also fit XIR P6600, P6620, E8600 and E8608 models. Security, hospitality and event staff can equip two users or keep a spare on hand.

Passive Acoustic Design for Noisy Environments

The earpiece uses a passive acoustic tube that routes audio directly into the ear without active electronics, so it draws no power from the radio and adds no self-noise. The snug earbud blocks ambient sound in loud venues such as nightclubs, warehouses or paintball fields, keeping incoming messages private and clear.

Clip-On Mic and PTT for Hands-Free Operation

A shirt clip positions the combined microphone and push-to-talk button at chest level, letting the wearer transmit without lifting the radio. The package includes two complete units, so a team can deploy them immediately or rotate them between shifts without extra cables or adapters.

Questions about this item

How do I install the G-shape earpiece on my Motorola XPR 3500e and what step do people often miss?

Plug the connector firmly into the radio's accessory port, loop the G-shaped hook over your ear, and clip the PTT unit to your lapel; the step often missed is seating the connector until it clicks so the microphone and PTT both work.

What maintenance or replacement will the 2-pack earpieces need over time?

Replace the foam ear tips when they lose shape or hygiene, inspect the coiled cable for kinks near the strain relief, and swap an entire unit if the in-line microphone or PTT switch becomes intermittent.

What limit appears first when using the earpiece continuously during a long security shift?

The single earbud design causes ear fatigue before the radio battery runs low, so operators typically rotate the two included units between ears every few hours.
