Mould King 18002 Climbing Car Kit

This Mould King 18002 kit contains 1879 pieces that build into a remote-controlled 4x4 off-road truck. It is designed for children and teenagers who enjoy hands-on construction and STEM-focused play. The finished model works as a display piece or a driveable toy. Numbered bags and a detailed manual guide the assembly process.

Upgrade from Simpler Brick Sets

Builders who have mastered smaller kits and want a longer, more complex project will find the 1879-piece count a substantial step up. The addition of remote-control and mobile-app operation adds a functional layer that static models lack. The jump is worth it when the builder wants both a challenging build and a motorised vehicle to drive afterwards.

Check Build Space and Power Needs

Verify that you have a clear area large enough to assemble and operate a finished truck of this piece count. Confirm the remote-control system's power requirements so you have suitable batteries or a charging method ready. Ensure the intended user is comfortable following a multi-step manual before starting.

Questions about this item

How much space does the finished 18002 model need for display?

The assembled truck is roughly 39 centimetres long, so allow at least that much length plus extra width for the wheels on a shelf or desk.

Which step in the numbered-bag assembly do builders most often miss?

Builders frequently skip sorting all 1879 pieces by bag number before starting, then struggle to find parts mid-build.

What parts of this climbing car are likely to wear out first?

The suspension pins, steering linkages and drive gears take the most stress during off-road use and will need replacement before the bricks do.
