Replaces original packs in Motorola Talkabout T200–T801 radios with a 1650 mAh Ni-MH cell delivering 3.6 V and built-in over-charge, over-discharge, over-heat.
This 3.6 V nickel-metal hydride pack replaces the PMNN4477AR cell used in Motorola Talkabout models from the T200 series through the T801 series. It contains three AA cells and includes over-charge, over-discharge, over-heat, over-current and short-circuit protection. The pack is sold new and ready for immediate use.
Nickel-metal hydride cells self-discharge faster than lithium types, so stored packs lose charge over weeks rather than months. They also deliver lower voltage under heavy load, which can reduce transmit range on high-power settings. Regular cycling helps maintain capacity, but memory effect is minimal with modern Ni-MH.
The 1650 mAh rating determines how long a Talkabout radio can operate between charges. Users who need multi-day standby or frequent high-power transmission should verify this capacity meets their duty cycle. Buyers who want more storage or longer run-time than 1650 mAh provides will need a different pack.

The 1650 mAh Ni-MH pack delivers longer run-time than lower-capacity cells while fitting the same T460 battery compartment.
It supplies roughly 5.9 Wh, powering a T600 H2O for extended talk and standby periods between charges.
Yes, the pack uses the standard PMNN4477AR form factor, so it seats and charges in the factory drop-in charger for the T801.
