G-Shape Ear Hook for Discreet Listening

The usbroway TC-617 is a listen-only earpiece designed for professionals who need clear audio without a visible microphone. Its 3.5 mm plug connects to two-way radios, speaker mics or portable players. The flexible G-shaped hook adjusts to sit securely on either the left or right ear for all-day comfort.

Consistent Clarity During Extended Shifts

The single-ear design delivers steady voice reproduction throughout long patrols or event shifts without the fatigue of heavy headsets. Because it receives only, the earpiece adds no transmission load to the radio circuit. Users in security, hospitality or warehouse roles can monitor channels continuously while keeping both hands free.

Passive Operation With Minimal Bulk

No battery or amplifier is required, so the unit draws power directly from the connected device and adds negligible weight. The soft hook and lightweight cable produce no fan noise or electronic hiss. The low-profile shape stays unobtrusive under helmets or collars in noisy bars, paintball fields or outdoor venues.

Questions about this item

Does the TC-617 earpiece draw any power or generate heat when worn all day?

The TC-617 is a passive listen-only earpiece with no electronics, so it draws no power and produces no heat during extended wear.

What must my radio or device already have for the 3.5 mm plug to work?

Your radio, speaker microphone, MP3 player or CD player needs a standard 3.5 mm jack socket; the TC-617 plugs straight in with no adapter required.

Will the TC-617 fit older Motorola or Icom transceivers I still use?

Yes, the 3.5 mm connector works with standard, Icom, Yaesu, Alinco, Motorola and Adi transceivers, so legacy radios with that jack are compatible.
