Scale & Audience

This 1:50 scale tow truck pairs with a 1:64 die-cast SUV to create a miniature recovery scene for children aged three to seven. The pull-back motor lets the truck roll forward on its own after being drawn back across a flat surface.

Play Limits

Lights and sound activate during play but require button-cell batteries that are not user-replaceable once depleted. The cab tilts up and both doors open, yet the plastic components can snap if forced beyond their moulded range of motion.

Setup & Snags

No assembly is needed — the set arrives ready to roll straight from the box. The most common issue is the pull-back spring losing tension after repeated heavy use, which stops the truck from driving forward on its own.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1:50 tow truck or the 1:64 diecast SUV?

You receive both: a 1:50 metal-and-plastic tow truck and a random 1:64 diecast SUV in the same box.

What does the 1:50 scale mean for actual play size?

The tow truck measures 8.8 in long, 2.2 in wide and 3.2 in high — small enough to hold in one hand.

How do the pull-back, light and sound features work together?

Pull the truck back on its wheels to wind the spring; release it to drive forward while lights flash and engine sounds play.
