Product overview

The usbroway Transform Robot RC Car is a 1:14 scale remote-controlled vehicle that converts into a robot with a single button press. It operates on a 2.4 GHz transmitter with a control range of 30-40 metres. The model includes LED headlights and realistic engine sounds that activate during movement in both configurations. A full charge takes about one hour and provides 20-30 minutes of run time.

Who it suits

This toy suits children aged eight and above who enjoy transformable vehicles with drifting capability. The 360-degree turning works in both car and robot modes for flexible indoor or outdoor play. Buyers who want a model without sound effects or light features should look at something else. Those needing longer continuous run times beyond 20-30 minutes per charge will find the battery life limiting.

Capacity and headroom

The 2.4 GHz system supports reliable control up to 40 metres in open spaces. The one-button transformation mechanism handles repeated switching between car and robot forms without manual steps. Drifting performance is consistent on smooth surfaces but loses traction on carpet or rough ground. Battery duration drops toward the lower end of the 20-30 minute range during continuous high-speed drifting or frequent transformations.

Questions about this item

What type of batteries does the remote control need to operate the 2.4 GHz transmitter?

The remote control requires batteries to power the 2.4 GHz transmitter system, but the specific battery type and quantity are not detailed in the product information.

Can the 1:14 scale transformer run on the same indoor carpet where I use older 1:18 scale RC cars?

Yes, the four smooth wheels and 360° drifting capability allow it to operate on indoor carpet alongside older 1:18 scale models, though the larger 1:14 size needs more turning space.

How do I confirm the realistic engine sound and LED headlights are working correctly after the first charge?

Drive the car forward, backward, left and right; the LED headlights should illuminate and the engine sound should change with each speed increase and direction change.
