Compatible Motorola XTS Series Radios

This acoustic-tube earpiece connects to Motorola XTS1500 XTS2500 XTS3000 XTS3500 and XTS5000 handheld radios. It is built for security staff event crews and anyone who needs discreet hands-free communication in loud venues. The kit includes a microphone with push-to-talk button and a clear tube that routes audio directly into the ear.

Cable Lengths and Audio Limits

The microphone lead measures 120 cm (40 in) from connector to mic while the earphone tube runs 150 cm (60 in) to the eartip. These fixed lengths set the practical range between the radio on your belt and the earpiece in your ear. The transparent tube delivers clear voice pickup in noisy rooms but offers no volume control or noise-cancellation circuitry.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

Plug the connector into the radio accessory port then route the tube over the ear and insert the mushroom tip. A loose connector or a kinked tube will cut audio so check both before each shift. The soft tube can yellow or harden over time and replacement tips are not included in the pack. Users who need a different connector or a shorter cable will need a separate adapter.
