Rapid Charger for XPR APX DP DGP XiRP Series

The usbroway WPLN4232 is a single-unit rapid charger designed for Motorola XPR, APX, DP, DGP and XiRP series portable radios. It suits professionals who need a reliable desk charger for compatible two-way radio batteries in commercial or public-safety environments.

Plug-in desktop setup with LED status

Installation is straightforward: connect the supplied power supply to the charger base, plug the power cord into a mains outlet, then seat the radio or battery pack. A red LED shows charging in progress and turns green when the battery is full. Over-charge protection stops the cycle automatically. The only common issue is seating the battery squarely; an off-centre placement can leave the LED red indefinitely.

NO-IMPRES chemistry support for listed packs

This charger handles the NO-IMPRES batteries listed in the specifications, including PMNN4406, PMNN4407, PMNN4412, PMNN4424, PMNN4435, PMNN4448, PMNN4488, PMNN4490, PMNN4491, PMNN4493, PMNN4499, NNTN8128, NNTN8129, NNTN8287 and NNTN8359. It will not charge IMPRES or other chemistry packs that require a different charging algorithm.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the WPLN4232 charger is working correctly after I plug it in?

The LED shows red while the battery is charging and turns green when the battery is fully charged, so the colour change confirms normal operation.

What does the package contain and is there anything else I need to purchase separately?

The box includes one charger base, one power cord and one power supply; no extra items are required to start charging compatible radios.

Which WPLN4232 or WPLN4226 version should I choose for my XPR6550 and PMNN4406 battery?

Both model numbers refer to the same NO-IMPRES single-unit charger that supports the XPR6550 radio and PMNN4406 battery, so either designation will work.
