Upgrade From Handheld Radio

This attachment replaces a belt-clipped or pocketed walkie-talkie that must be reached for each transmission. The jump is worth it when you operate in noise, wear gloves or carry a weapon, because Voice Activated Transmit with adjustable VOX sensitivity lets you speak without pressing a button and without false triggers from wind or gunfire.

Build-Around Requirements

The unit draws power from three included AAA cells rated for 12 hours of use, so spares should be carried for longer days. It provides 22 channels and 99 sub-channels with a 2-3 mile range, and the bundle adds a 7075 aluminium 12kN locking carabiner for securing the earmuffs to gear. No other mounting hardware or external antenna is required.
