What this cable does

The UseBean S22 is a 0.2-metre right-angle USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 extension cable rated for 20 Gbps data transfer, 4K video at 60 Hz and up to 100 W Power Delivery. It adds a 90-degree L-shaped male connector to an existing USB-C cable so the plug sits flush against the device, reducing strain on the port during charging or data use.

What to check before ordering

Your host and peripheral must both support USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 to reach the 20 Gbps rate; the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 3.0 speeds. It will not function with active Thunderbolt 4 or Thunderbolt 3 docks, hubs or cables. If a USB 2.0 peripheral such as a mouse or keyboard does not enumerate, flip the male connector over and try again.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This suits users who need a short, durable braided extender to relieve port stress on phones, tablets or laptops while maintaining full 100 W charging and high-speed data. It is not for anyone needing a longer reach beyond 0.2 metres, nor for setups that rely on active Thunderbolt docking stations or Thunderbolt 3 hubs.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.2 m UseBean S22 cable ship with any adapters or do I need to buy a USB-C power brick separately?

The box contains only the right-angle USB-C male-to-female extension cable; a USB-C charger and your existing device cable are not included and must be supplied separately.

The listing mentions 20 Gbps and 100 W — are those two different versions or a single cable that does both?

One cable handles both; the S22 is rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2 20 Gbps data and USB Power Delivery up to 100 W (20 V 5 A) simultaneously.

When I plug this 0.2 m extender between my laptop and a 4K monitor, will I actually get 4K at 60 Hz?

Yes, the cable supports 4K 60 Hz video output over USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, provided your laptop port and monitor both support DisplayPort Alt Mode at that resolution and refresh rate.
