Universal cable ties for indoor and outdoor use

These USTC MCOU10003 ties are black polyamide nylon fasteners sold in a pack of 100. Each tie measures 7.4 inches long with a width of 0.19 inches and a thickness of 0.05 inches. They use a self-locking plastic pawl to secure bundles quickly. The material resists weather and UV exposure for long-term durability.

Suited for general bundling.

Installers managing cables in homes, offices, garages or workshops will find the 50 lb tensile strength adequate for standard organising tasks. The ties operate reliably from -76 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Buyers who need releasable straps or higher temperature tolerance should consider different fastening solutions.

50 lb tensile strength defines the holding capacity

This single figure determines whether the tie can support your specific bundle weight. The 7.4 inch length sets the maximum bundle diameter. The nylon 6.6 construction and UV resistance dictate suitability for outdoor exposure.

Questions about this item

What tools do I need to cut the 0.19" wide tails after tightening these MCOU10003 ties?

Standard diagonal cutters or cable-tie trimmers cleanly sever the 0.19" wide nylon tail without damaging the bundle.

Will the 50 lb tensile strength hold when I bundle older, brittle cables alongside new ones?

Yes, the 50 lb rating secures mixed-age bundles; the smooth pawl avoids cutting into fragile jackets.

How can I confirm the self-locking pawl on each tie has engaged properly?

Pull the tail firmly — if it does not slide back, the pawl has locked at one of the 0.05" increment steps.
