4K KVM Extender over Cat5e/6

The UTEK 4K HDMI KVM Extender transmits 4K video, audio and USB keyboard and mouse signals up to 120 meters over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It replaces fixed-length HDMI leads with readily available Ethernet cabling that is easier to route and terminate on site. The set includes transmitter and receiver units with a US plug power supply.

Suitable for installers needing long-distance 4K

This extender suits installers and integrators who must bridge distances beyond standard HDMI reach in digital signage, conference rooms, classrooms or data-centre control. It is not for users who require fibre-optic distances, multi-monitor switching or HDMI 2.1 features such as variable refresh rate.

Maximum reach 120 metres

The 120-metre limit at 4K resolution is the single specification that decides whether this part fits the job; shorter runs work without change, but longer links demand a different technology.
