5-Port HDMI 2.1 KVM Switch

This UTEK 5x1 HDMI 2.1 KVM switch routes five HDMI sources to a single display. It suits gamers and creators who need to switch between consoles, PCs and streaming devices without unplugging cables. The unit supports HDCP 2.3 and HDR10 for protected high-dynamic-range content.

8K 60Hz and 4K 120Hz headroom

The switch handles 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth. It also passes 1080p at 240 Hz for high-refresh competitive gaming. Certified Ultra High-Speed HDMI 2.1 cables are required for 8K signals, and cable runs must not exceed three metres on either side. Without certified cables or within longer runs, 8K stability cannot be guaranteed.

IR remote and USB power cable included

An IR remote enables input selection from a distance, though a CR2025 battery must be sourced separately. A USB power cable is supplied for scenarios where a single HDMI source cannot deliver enough power. No additional software or drivers are bundled, so operation remains purely hardware-based.

Will my older 1080p 240 Hz monitor work with the 5x1 HDMI 2.1 switch?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible and supports 1080p at 240 Hz alongside the higher 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz modes.

How do I confirm the switch is passing 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz to my display?

Use the IR remote or front button to select an input, then verify the active resolution and refresh rate in your display’s on-screen information menu.

Does the box include the five HDMI 2.1 cables and the CR2025 remote battery I need?

The package supplies the switch, a USB power cable and the IR remote; ultra-high-speed HDMI 2.1 cables and a CR2025 battery must be purchased separately.
