What this camera does and who it fits

The UTEK Mini WiFi Cam records 1080p video with night vision up to five metres. It includes a 32 GB card and supports up to 128 GB for loop recording. The compact 2.9 x 1.1 x 2.9 cm body suits discreet indoor monitoring. Buyers needing continuous outdoor coverage or multi-camera systems should look elsewhere.

Wi-Fi app and local storage limits

Remote viewing and motion alerts require the V720 app over Wi-Fi; without a network the camera records locally only. The supplied 32 GB card stores several hours of 1080p footage before overwriting. Larger cards up to 128 GB extend that window. No cloud service or wired Ethernet option is provided.

Mounting and common setup issues

A built-in iron block lets the camera snap to a magnetic phone holder for quick positioning. Power must stay connected for continuous surveillance recording. The 940 nm infrared LEDs produce no visible glow, so night footage is truly invisible to the eye. Ensure the Wi-Fi signal reaches the install spot or recording stays local only.

Questions about this item

How much footage can the 32 GB card hold before it starts overwriting?

The included 32 GB card stores video until full, then loop recording overwrites the oldest files automatically. The camera accepts cards up to 128 GB for longer retention.

What does the 1080p figure mean for the Wi-Fi stream in the V720 app?

The camera captures 1080p Full HD locally; the Wi-Fi link and V720 app transmit that resolution for remote viewing and playback.

Will the 1.1 x 0.4 x 1.1 in body fit on a standard phone holder?

A built-in iron block on the back lets the camera attach magnetically to a phone holder or any ferrous surface for quick mounting.
