Connects a USB-C PD charger to MagSafe 2 MacBook Pro 13, 15 and 17 inch models from Mid 2012 onward at up to 100W
This USB-C to MagSafe 2 T-Tip cable delivers up to 100W of power from a compatible PD charger to MacBook Pro models from mid-2012 onward. It measures 1.8m in length and features a white finish.
Users with 13, 15 or 17 inch Retina MacBook Pro units (A1398, A1424, MD506LL/A) who want to replace the original MagSafe adapter with a USB-C PD source. Buyers whose chargers only offer a single output port and meet the 87W-or-above recommendation will get full performance.
The cable requires a PD charger capable of 15V–20V at 3A–5A to reach its 100W maximum output. If your power source cannot negotiate those voltages and currents, the MacBook will not charge at the rated speed.

Yes, the cable delivers up to 100W to the MagSafe 2 T-Tip connector when paired with a PD charger rated 87W or higher that has a single output port.
The MacBook charging indicator will turn amber or green and macOS will report the power source as a USB-C PD adapter supplying the negotiated voltage.
Only the cable with USB-C male and MagSafe 2 T-Tip connectors is supplied; a compatible 87W or higher single-port PD charger must be purchased separately.
