12000mAh battery and dual solar panels

This emergency weather radio stores 12000mAh of power and charges through two widened solar panels or a hand crank. It covers FM, AM and NOAA weather bands so you receive real-time alerts wherever you are. The built-in SOS alarm and three-mode flashlight add extra safety for outdoor or home emergencies.

Sustained operation through multiple charging paths

Under continuous use the 12000mAh cell delivers up to 108 hours of runtime before needing a recharge. When mains power is unavailable the hand crank and dual solar panels keep the radio running without relying on a single source. Automatic frequency search locks onto the strongest FM signal without manual tuning.

Frequency coverage limits for AM.

The tuner receives AM from 520 to 1710 KHz, FM from 87 to 108 MHz and NOAA weather broadcasts between 162.4 and 162.55 MHz. Reception quality depends on local signal strength and terrain, so remote areas may need the crank or solar top-up more often. The radio does not transmit and cannot replace two-way communication devices.

Questions about this item

Does the 12000mAh battery run hot or make noise when the radio plays NOAA alerts all day?

The unit uses a passive 12000mAh cell with no fan, so it stays silent and only warms slightly during extended NOAA listening or phone charging.

What cables or adapters must I already have to charge a phone from the USB port?

You need your phone's own USB charging cable; the radio provides only the USB-A output socket.

Will the AM tuner covering 520-1710 KHz pick up the same stations as my vintage tabletop receiver?

Yes, the AM range matches standard broadcast spacing, so any station your older set receives should tune in here as well.
