AMD EXPO Profile Constraints

The EXPO profile sets 6800 MT/s at CL34, yet the SPD table lists CL36-46-46-92 at 1.40 V. Systems that only read JEDEC defaults will drop to lower speeds unless the firmware applies the EXPO overclock. Memory controllers that cannot sustain 1.40 V will also limit the achievable frequency.

Registered DIMM Installation Notes

Each stick carries a 10-layer PCB, micro-heatsinks on the RCD and PMIC, and a standard heat spreader. The registered buffer adds one cycle of latency, so the platform must support RDIMM topology.
