V-color WRX90 OC R-DIMM 256GB kit

This 256GB kit contains eight 32GB DDR5 6200 CL32 registered ECC modules built for AMD Threadripper WRX90 workstations. It targets professionals who need large-capacity memory with error correction for compute-intensive workloads. The AMD EXPO profile simplifies configuration on supported motherboards.

Sustained load behaviour with micro-heatsinks

Patented RCD and PMIC micro-heatsinks cover the hottest components to absorb and dissipate heat during extended high-speed operation. V-color states the design reduces temperatures by 30 to 40 percent compared with bare modules. On-die ECC maintains data integrity while the 1.4V operating voltage supports the 6200MHz overclock.

Installation notes for 288-pin RDIMMs

The 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM form factor fits WRX90 motherboard slots directly. Builders must verify that the platform supports registered ECC memory and the EXPO profile before purchase. Systems requiring unbuffered or non-ECC DDR5 cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 1.4 V 6200 MHz kit produce under sustained load?

The modules include a patented micro-heatsink covering the RCD and PMIC that cuts their temperature by 30-40 % compared with bare modules.

What motherboard platform is required for this 288-pin DDR5 RDIMM kit to function?

It is built for AMD Threadripper PRO 7000 series processors on WRX90 workstation motherboards only.

Can I mix this 8 x 32 GB CL32 kit with other registered DDR5 modules already in my WRX90 board?

The kit runs at 6200 MHz via AMD EXPO; mixing different speeds, ranks or latencies will force the system to the slowest common settings.
