Two-port RJ11 RJ12 manual switch
This switch box lets one telephone line or analogue modem serve two RJ11 or RJ12 devices. A rotary selector chooses the active port without software or external power. The unit is hot-swappable so the computer does not need a reboot when the selector is turned. Cables are not included.
Suits small offices sharing a single line
The switch is built for home or small-office users who need to alternate between two phones, fax machines or dial-up modems on one line. It does not support simultaneous use of both ports. Buyers who need both devices active at the same time should look at a different solution. Digital phone systems or VoIP adapters are not compatible with this analogue switch.
Check connector type and cable needs
Verify that each device uses a standard 6P6C RJ11 or RJ12 plug before ordering. The box provides two female 6P6C ports and two manual buttons; you must supply the connecting cables. No driver installation or power outlet is required, so any desk with a free surface will work.

Questions about this item
What cables with 6P6C plugs do I need to connect my two phone lines to the switch box?
You must supply two RJ11 or RJ12 cables with 6P6C male plugs; the box only provides the female ports.
Can I leave my legacy analogue handset plugged into one port while sharing the line with a newer fax machine on the other?
Yes, the passive rotary switch simply routes the active line to either port, so any analogue device works.
How do I verify the switch is routing correctly after I connect both lines?
Pick up the handset on the selected port — you should hear dial tone from the line assigned to that button.
