Small offices and home users who print mainly

Buyers who need colour output, higher-capacity cartridges for heavier workloads, or original HP supplies should consider other options. The set is intended for standard laser printing on A4 paper at typical office coverage.

Up to 3000 pages per cartridge at five percent

Yield is measured under standard test conditions and actual page count will vary with content, humidity and printer settings. The integrated chip enables the printer to track usage and warn when toner runs low.

Questions about this item

Will the 258A cartridges work in my older LaserJet M304 without firmware issues?

The 258A cartridges are listed as compatible with the LaserJet M304 and include a new chip so the printer recognises them and shows toner levels normally.

How can I confirm each 258A cartridge is printing at the rated 3000-page yield after installation?

Print a supplies status page from the printer menu; it will report the page count and toner level so you can track output against the 3000-page rating at five percent coverage.

Does the 2-pack include any drums, waste containers or tools, or just the two black toner cartridges?

The package contains only the two black 258A toner cartridges with chips; drums, waste toner collectors and installation tools are not included and must be sourced separately if needed.
