Compact 240W USB-C cable

The VAFOTON Samsung Gala is an 11-inch USB-C to USB-C cable rated for 240W power delivery at 48V and 5A. An integrated E-marker chip enables PD 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0 negotiation. It targets users who need maximum charging speed for compatible laptops, tablets and phones in a very short form factor.

Keychain build and universal connectors

The cable doubles as a keychain accessory, making it easy to carry and store without tangling. Male-to-male USB-C plugs work with any USB-C port, supporting Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts as well as Android Auto and VR headsets. The short length keeps desk setups tidy but limits reach between devices placed far apart.

40Gbps data and 8K video ceiling

USB 4.0 provides up to 40Gbps data transfer, while video output reaches 8K at 60Hz. Both speeds require host, device and cable to support the same specification; older USB-C ports will fall back to lower rates. The 240W charging ceiling also depends on the charger and device implementing PD 3.1.

Questions about this item

What USB standard does the 40 Gbps rating correspond to?

The cable is built to USB 4.0, so the 40 Gbps ceiling is the USB 4.0 Gen 3×2 limit; it will not exceed that speed even on faster ports.

How much clearance does the 11 inch keychain cable need?

At 11 inches end-to-end with male-to-male USB-C plugs, it fits in tight gaps behind monitors or in laptop bags without straining the ports.

What is the correct way to plug it in for 240 W charging?

Use a PD 3.1 charger rated for 48 V / 5 A and a device that accepts 240 W; the built-in E-marker chip then negotiates the full power automatically.
