Dynamic desk microphone

The Valcom V-400 is a dynamic desk microphone built for industrial and commercial public address or paging systems. Its rugged construction and modern styling suit continuous use in demanding environments. A push-to-talk bar with a sliding lock holds the unit in the on position for hands-free operation. A long-life switch provides reliable contact closure for music muting when the bar is pressed.

Users needing hands-free paging

The microphone suits operators who require a durable desk unit with a lockable talk button for frequent announcements. It is not suited for buyers who want a wireless or headset-style microphone for mobility. Users needing studio-grade condenser audio capture should look at a different product type.

50Hz to 12kHz frequency response

The microphone covers a 50Hz to 12kHz frequency range, which determines its suitability for voice paging and public address clarity. This range is the key specification for matching the unit to your audio system requirements.
