Spray Gun for ATV and Spot Sprayers

The VALLEY INDUSTRIES SG-5518-18 spray gun connects to ATV, spot, and trailer sprayers for liquid application tasks. Its aluminum and plastic wand construction provides chemical resistance during use. The tool is designed for operators who need a handheld spray attachment for existing sprayer systems. It suits agricultural, landscaping, and property maintenance workflows.

Wand Length Limits Reach and Maneuverability

The 18 in wand and 27 in overall length define the working envelope for spray coverage. Users cannot extend reach beyond these fixed dimensions without additional equipment. The rigid wand does not articulate, so tight or obstructed areas may be difficult to treat. Operators must position the sprayer platform accordingly to cover target zones.

Handles Standard Spot Sprayer Duties

The gun manages typical spraying jobs such as weed control, fertilising, and pest treatment on small to medium plots. It lacks adjustable pattern or flow controls, so precision metering is not possible. High-volume or commercial-scale applications will exceed its practical capacity. The tool is built for intermittent use rather than continuous industrial operation.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 18 inch wand or a different length for my ATV sprayer?

The 18 inch wand provides 27 inches of overall reach, which suits ATV and spot sprayers where a compact, controllable spray pattern is needed.

What does the 27 inch overall length mean when I am actually spraying?

You get 27 inches from the grip to the nozzle tip, giving enough distance to treat low crops or wheel arches without bending or stretching the hose.

What type of connection does this spray gun use and what pressure can it handle?

It connects to standard ATV, spot and trailer sprayer hoses with a typical quick-coupler fitting, and the aluminium and plastic construction is rated for common low-pressure sprayer pumps.
