Valterra 4309GR Gate Valve 3 in PVC Class 125

3-inch PVC gate valve for water systems

This Valterra 4309GR gate valve controls water flow in plumbing installations using a 3-inch nominal size and PVC body. It is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 30 psi and a steam pressure of 15 psi with a Class 125 designation. The rising stem and solid wedge are made from 304 stainless steel, while the seat uses stainless steel and the seal uses TPE. A lever handle operates the welded bonnet design with female IPS connections on both sides.

Suitable applications and limits

The valve suits cold-water lines, irrigation networks and low-pressure distribution where 30 psi operating pressure is sufficient. It is not for high-pressure mains, steam lines above 15 psi, hot-water systems exceeding the pressure rating or installations requiring flanged or threaded connections other than female IPS. Buyers needing larger diameters, different connection types or higher pressure ratings must select another model.
