1" Brass Ball Valve with Drain
This 1-inch FNPT brass ball valve includes an integrated drain for inline installation. The two-piece body uses a full-port design rated for 600 psi CWP. Chrome-plated brass ball and PTFE seats provide shut-off in hot and cold water lines. A blowout-proof stem and stainless-steel lever with vinyl grip complete the assembly.
Integrated drain changes maintenance access
The built-in drain port lets you relieve pressure or empty a section of pipe without removing the valve from the line. This saves time during seasonal shutdowns or when servicing downstream components. The lever handle still delivers quarter-turn operation even with the drain feature present.
Temperature range limits material compatibility
The valve operates from -40 to 350 degrees F, so it suits many hydronic and compressed-air systems. Brass construction and PTFE seats restrict use with aggressive chemicals or steam above the rated limit. Installers must verify that system pressure never exceeds 600 psi CWP.

Questions about this item
How often should the PTFE seats be inspected or replaced on this brass ball valve?
PTFE seats resist wear and chemical attack, so routine inspection is only needed if leakage appears at the stem or ports during normal operation.
What pressure limit is reached first when the valve runs continuously at high flow?
The 600 psi CWP rating is the primary limit; sustained pressure above that value can deform the seats or body before temperature becomes a factor.
How much heat does the valve body absorb when hot water at 350 °F passes through all day?
Brass conducts heat rapidly, so the inline body will reach near-fluid temperature; external insulation is recommended to prevent burns and reduce thermal loss.
