7 ft x 7 ft PVC Leak Diverter

The Value Brand 10C890 is a square PVC-laminated polyester tarp designed to catch overhead leaks and channel water away from equipment or walkways. It measures 7 ft by 7 ft and includes bungee cords with hooks, drawstrings, hooks and straps for securing it to overhead structures. A California Proposition 65 warning applies because the product contains a chemical known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Facilities teams managing active roof leaks

Maintenance crews can deploy this diverter quickly under a single failure point to protect inventory, machinery or flooring from water damage. It is not suited for collectors who need an integrated drain hose, for installations that require a rigid frame, or for applications demanding a material certified for potable water contact.

Bungee cords with hooks, drawstrings.

The mounting kit supplies elastic cords and multiple fastener types so the tarp can be tensioned under joists, pipes or cable trays without permanent fixings. This attachment method decides whether the diverter can be installed in a given ceiling grid.

Questions about this item

Will this 7 ft by 7 ft PVC diverter work with the bungee cords and hooks I already use for tarps?

The diverter includes bungee cords with hooks, drawstrings, hooks and straps for mounting, so your existing cords can supplement or replace the supplied hardware.

How can I confirm the diverter is catching water correctly once installed?

After hanging the yellow PVC laminated polyester tarp, watch for water flowing into the centre and exiting through the drain fitting without pooling on the surface.

Does the package contain a drain hose or do I need to buy one separately?

No hose is included; the diverter tarp comes with mounting bungees, drawstrings, hooks and straps, so a compatible drain hose must be purchased separately.
