Polyurethane Wheel for Wheelbarrows and Carts

This four-inch wheel features a polyurethane tread on a nylon core rated at 98 Shore A hardness. It carries a 195 lb load rating within a 0 to 299 lb range and uses a 5/16 inch axle bore with a 1-1/2 inch hub length. The non-marking tread protects floor surfaces during use.

Suited for Replacement on Light-Duty Yard Carts

Homeowners repairing a wheelbarrow or utility cart with matching axle and hub dimensions will find this wheel a direct fit. Buyers needing a higher load capacity or a different axle diameter should look at other options because this unit is limited to the stated rating and bore size.

Critical Spec Is the 5/16 Inch Axle Bore

The wheel mounts only on axles that match the 5/16 inch bore and 1-1/2 inch hub length. Verify these measurements on your existing equipment before ordering to ensure compatibility.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 4-inch wheel generate when rolling under the 360 lb rating all day?

The polyurethane tread on a plastic core runs cool under load; no heat build-up is expected during continuous use at the rated capacity.

What axle size does the 1-1/2-inch hub need to fit my existing cart?

The wheel accepts a 5/16-inch axle; a matching spanner bushing is not included, so reuse your current hardware or source one separately.

Will the non-marking 98 Shore A tread damage the epoxy floor I already have?

The firm polyurethane tread is non-marking and safe for epoxy, concrete and finished surfaces without leaving scuffs.
